In the El Dorado County Board of Supervisors January 15, 2019 Agenda, published in the evening on Wednesday January 9th, Agenda Item 26 lists a request from the El Dorado County Department of Transportation.
The first part of the agenda item is a request to dedicate 100 feet of County owned property at Bass Lake to make the connection of the southern extension of Silver Springs Parkway to Bass Lake Rd at “The Curve”.
The second part of the agenda item seeks to get direction from the Board of Supervisors on reserving 1 acre of the County owned 41 acre Bass Lake property for use as a Department of Transportation Maintenance Yard.
This would be directly across from Bridlewood Drive, and the Bridlewood Canyon Gatehouse, and just over 100 feet to the entrance of the future Serrano J7 Village residential development – which is currently the Bridlewood Canyon Emergency Access Road.
BLAC believe that due to the shortness of the public notification, that public comments regarding the proposal are critical for the Board of Supervisors to inform their decision on this matter.
Public Comments on the proposal should be submitted to all five Supervisors and the Clerk of The Board by Monday January 14th, to be included in the project file for review.
Your comments, questions, and concerns should be courteous, and based in fact, not emotion.
